 WEEK 1

Wednesday- N/A

Thursday- Today we cracked straight on with Over the cuckoos nest and begun immediately working on act 1 again it felt so great as my lines where easy to remember so I naturally got adjusted to them and was quick to remember them. I worked so much better being off script as I wasn't reading off the script but rather paying more attention to detail of character and development as it gave me more time to commit to character research. I felt today went great and I tackled a lot and I'm more than confident with whatever comes ahead with this show. I feel today went great and the in depth growth and analysis I was pleased with.

WEEK 2

Monday- N/A

Tuesday- We progressed today onto act two and ran over cast 1 in the morning I came in the afternoon so we ran onto cast 2 right away. In cast 2 I play Aide Williams who does not have as many lines in the second act however is much more psychically present. I enjoyed the fun and spontaneity of this act and I got given the chance to really push myself more. Furthermore we repeated the scene but with cast 1 so I was able to play as ruckly this time. I feel happy with the progress I made as well as being able to finally play ruckly in cast 1.

Wednesday- Today we ran over over the rest of cast 2's act 2 and got to the end. Most of today was spent getting to the end even if it was just a rough run through so we are aware of placement and blocking. Today I felt the fact we were able to get through to the end was great and I'm now fully confident with all my lines.

Thursday- Today I went through the end scene of act 1 constantly working on blocking, pacing and how to deliver our lines. Today was great as we fully blocked out the end of act 1 so we developed a strong scene. Today I felt I did great and Im happy with how this week turned out.

WEEK 3

Monday- N/A

Tuesday- Today we extensively worked over act 2 and blocked it. I feel so glad with the amount of workload I've accomplished and can't wait to finally get this show on the stage. The blocking is going great and I'm so proud of how much I've gotten done.

 

ACT 2

Wednesday- This morning we ran over production roles. Mine is stage manager with Keiran we went around checking over the rest of the production roles for over the cuckoos nest we asked how far they got and so far what they did. For the rest of the remaining day we crackled down again on the end of Act 2 with cast 2 but I also played in for my cast 1 role of ruckly. I felt today went great even though I had an eventful morning I passed though the day and really powered through demonstrating my improvement in resilience. 

Thursday- Today we ran over our production presentations mine was stage manager with keiran we presented it to the class and i really enjoyed it. I feel proud with the amount of workload done even though it was a more relaxed day.

WEEK 4

Monday- Today we got ready for our last full week of rehearsals we participated in fully polishing our scenes and running through both acts. I worked in depth more so on Ruckly and his intricacies. I felt I did great and Im so happy with the progress I've made 

Tuesday- As we move closer to the date we begun practising our week points such as the basketball scene in which I Play two characters in one in cast 1 as Ruckly and one in Cast 2 as Aide Williams both of them are important in this scene so it was key in polishing it out.

Wednesday- Today we did a full run through as the date approaches closer we went through the scenes all of them making sure we are all of script and aware of cues. Today I felt was another solid and good day of rehearsals 

Thursday- Today is the last day before half term and then jumping right into dress rehearsals and performing it. We made sure to get through yesterdays run through and we polished scenes of with people I did this with Ben to make sure we know our duologues off by heart.
