WEEK 2-N/A

WEEK 3-

Monday- Today we visited the new NT connections so far Toni is the character which interests me the most. Today was a solid start for a good year I felt today was a good start.

Tuesday- Today was the same as Monday we ran over connections however we begun establishing what roles we wanted I choose to go for Toni and I walked through his lines with a peer and gained a basic understanding of what he’s like and did research in script about him. Today went great and I’m hopeful for connections and hope to have another great connections show just like last years which is already feeling nostalgic and I miss so so much.

Wednesday- Tomorrow is the auditions for Connections I’m excited as I really wanna get the part of Toni as he’s such a cool and interesting character who is so different to the others yet so similar I’ve been learning the piece in collaboration with the rest of the club in the script which includes will, Delroy, George and Hayley etc. I feel today went amazing and I feel ready for Tommarow and I know I’ll do amazing knowing now I know everything to audition.

Thursday- Today is a start for a much different next two weeks we are working with Zest theatre for there upcoming show on 1st and 2nd February which I’m looking forward too the script is amazing and the main character is called Zia I relate so much to his story in the script so working on this show will be amazing and I can’t imagine once it’s over. I feel today went great it’s sad that due to benign ill I didn’t get a speaking part but I’m glad to be apart of this production nevertheless. I look forward to see how next week will be 

WEEK 5-

Monday- today we begun working in the main theatre of where I show was I went over the more tech heavy scenes such as the high ropes scenes and intro and end which I really enjoyed seeing the dynamic stage was so cool everything about it was such a joy to work in and everyone was just working together so well. I felt today went amazing and I’m looking forward and I’m optimistic for the upcoming shows on Thursday and Friday.

Tuesday- Today was a full first run through we stopped at times to work out blocking but got through it at the end we worked on using props and positioning ourselfs better in stage I also fully learnt all the choreography for the songs which I feel splendid with! I feel today went amazing and I’m looking forward for Tommarow to get the dress run through finished.

Wednesday- Today was amazing we did another full proper dress rehearsal run through this time though. My costume was authentic to me we were told to wear something that would show who WE are. This show is about playing ourselves more than anything and it’s not only a show I feel but it’s an experience unlike anything else. I feel today went amazing in preparation for Tommarow I’m looking forward to finally get this show done with but I’ll miss it so dearly as I love the cast and working with Zest theatre.
